The author, Joyce Peters has written over 50+ books and is a past chairman of the Shoals Chamber Of Commerce, a past Ambassador Committee Chairman who served on the Executive Advisory Committee for the Chamber and lobbied with Chamber president/Mayor Holt for the funding that built the Patton Island Bridge project and additionally, Dr Peters ran her own health clinics in the Shoals and Beverly Hills for years providing care to many locals including music executives and celebrity artist.
