About
A graduate of Duke and Yale, Eileen Flanagan writes for a wide range of national publications and speaks at conferences, colleges, and religious gatherings. She is the author three books, most recently Renewable: One Woman’s Search for Simplicity, Faithfulness, and Hope, which tells the story of her midlife realization that she was not living up to her potential or her youthful ideals, and the engaging journey that led her to handcuff herself to the White House fence.

Eileen lives with her husband and two children in Philadelphia, where she serves as clerk of the board of Earth Quaker Action Team, a small grassroots group that challenged a bank and won.
