Support Member’s Off-Broadway Stage Debut this Tuesday, Oct. 6

Letters to Zoey, UPdatedCalling all members, family and friends who would support our member’s musical stage debut tomorrow night, Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015 at 9 pm…

One of the National Writers Union members, Garrett Buhl Robinson, is making a monumental step in his career performing Off-Broadway at Theatre Row!

His musical, Letters to Zoey, is based upon his experiences in 1992 when he jumped on a coal train near his hometown.  For a year, he traveled around the United States riding freight trains, hitchhiking the highways and wandering through the wilderness areas of California, Nevada and the Pacific Northwest.

The story combines rollicking adventures with meditative introspection told in a tender love story through his letters to Zoey.  The story is a transformative journey through the vivid imagery of the passing scenery, the emotional turmoil of tempestuous youth, the yearning to be understood and the aching for love in the harrowing circumstances of wild adventure told through the fluent musical of poetry and song.
