Submit to District Lines Publication

Write, draw, or photograph D.C.? Now’s your chance to get published! District Lines, an anthology dedicated to capturing life in and around our nation’s capitol, is seeking submissions.

The publication accepts poems, essays, short stories, coherent ramblings, scribblings, and comics—as long as the work captures a sense of the people and spaces in the Washington, DC, area.

Each cover features a different work of art, so the call also goes out for photographs and other original pieces.

Deadline for submissions is noon, Saturday, July 1. To apply, read and follow the guidelines before sending your query to V will be launched in January.

Politics and Prose publishes District Lines annually.
