NWU member John Feffer will be the keynote speaker during a luncheon from 1 to 2 pm on Thursday, April 13, at the Woman’s National Democratic Club [WNDC] in Washington, DC.
He’ll speak about “Telling Tales in the Time of Trump,” and tackle how storytelling is more important than ever in this era of so-called fake news and outlandish Presidential tweets.
As part of his presentation, he’ll incorporate clips from past performances and selections from his latest novel Splinterlands. Copies of the book will available for purchase and autographing.
Admission is $10 for the presentation alone, and $25 with lunch for NWU members ($30 for non-members). Doors—and the bar open—at 11:30 a.m.
WNDC is located at 1526 New Hampshire Ave., just off Dupont Circle. Register for the event here.
