The organization is a network of business, labor, education, and activist leaders who want to see America grow by investing in its people. They envision a nation that provides every worker and industry the skills to compete and prosper. Part of the group’s goals include providing a greater diversity of Americans access to a better life via job-driven, skills-based training.
The organization has an annual budget of $4.5 million. Its staff of 25 build coalitions, provide analysis, offer technical assistance, and engage in advocacy to advance state and federal policies informed by coalition members.
As press secretary, you would serve as the NSC’s key point of contact with the media. You need to be comfortable pitching stories and possess excellent writing skills. A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required. The position is based in Washington DC.
