I've worked as a journalist, editor, blogger, and copywriter and screenwriter since 2012. While my work spans across genres and styles, my goal is always to uplift marginalized voices in my work. I am currently managing editor at a regional Memphis-based magazine. My work has been featured in The Offing, Oldster Mag, Huffington Post, Bitch Mag, anthology book OUTSIDE THE XY, and many others. My chapbook, A FLAMBOYANCE, with Bottlecap Press, and debut YA novel, JUNIPER LEAVES, are out now. PANSY: A BLACK AMERICAN MEMOIR is coming October 2024.
