Trevor Scott Barton is a public school teacher and street writer in Greenville, S.C. He finds beauty in the plain, genius in the simple and wonder in the ordinary. He is working on a novel, Fragments of Hilcias and Taki's Notebook, about Immigration, migrant work, finding your voice, kindness, courage and whales. He is working on a collection of small stories, Notes from Public School, about students and their families from Mexico, Central America and South America.
