Timothy Sheard

After writing six crime novels featuring Lenny Moss, hospital custodian, union steward and amateur detective, Timothy launched his independent publishing company, Hard Ball Press, in order to mentor and publish working class writers. His first publication is Murder of a Post Office Manager, by Paul Felton, a veteran postal worker and steward. Other books will follow in 2014.
 
 
In addition to mentoring many writers, Timothy has produced books for authors who wish to self-publish their works. Titles he has edited and designed include Biting the Big Apple – Memoirs of a Journalist Turned Immigrant, Remembering Rollo – Growing up in the Rocky Mountain West,  Seeing for Myself, A Political Traveler’s Memoir, and others.
 
Currently serving at Chairman of the National Writers Union New York Chapter, Timothy lives with his lovely wife Mary in Brooklyn, NY.
