Mike McQuillan, former US Senate aide and Peace Corps Volunteer, taught history and, in the aftermath of Eric Garner’s death, chaired the NYPD Training Advisory Council’s Race Subcommittee.
Mike, as the Brooklyn Borough President’s Advisor for Racial/Ethnic Affairs, coordinated the Crown Heights Coalition after the 1991 racial conflict there and was a frequent public speaker and conference workshop presenter.
