Book Talk and Sale with Local Authors

at the Lakeville Library

On Saturday, December 10th, at 10:30am, three award-winning local authors will present a half-hour talk about “Genre Writing – Memoirs, Mysteries, and Fantasy” followed by a book sale and signing at the Lakeville Public Library, 4 Precinct St., Lakeville. All books will be discounted for this one-time holiday event, and the writers look forward to chatting with visitors.

Joyce Keller Walsh (Lakeville) has written eight books, mostly regional mysteries. She is an award-winning playwright with productions in Boston and New York and is scheduled in March to have a staged reading of her latest full-length play by Theatre One Productions of Middleborough. Alberta Sequeira (Dartmouth) is a novelist and author of three memoirs and an edited volume about alcoholism. Along with Joyce Walsh and Pat Perry, she has been the host/director/producer of a cable t.v. show out of New Bedford; she is also a motivational speaker on substance abuse. Her website is: .

Pat Perry (Fairhaven) is the author of a series of fantasy novels and a book of short stories. Along with Joyce and Alberta, she has held workshops and presentations on writing, publishing, and marketing books at various venues, including UMass/Boston and numerous regional libraries.
