Black Lives Have Always Mattered – Reading, October 24, 2017

Left to right: Ellin Sorin, Lisa Braxton, Boston Chapter co-chair and moderator Charles Coe, Bettye Kearse, James Kates.
Four writers featured in Black Lives Have Always Mattered, an anthology of poetry and prose published by 2leaf Press, read from their work at Porter Square Books in Cambridge. The event drew an overflow crowd and featured compelling readings, a lively Q & A session and the kind of culturally diverse audience we don’t see often enough at Boston-area cultural events.
The reading was one in a series co-sponsored by the Boston Chapter. Stay tuned for information about future events…
