Hi fellow members,
We’re excited to finally announce the results of NWU’s 2024 Special Election.
This election was held to fill the remaining Delegate and Alternate positions ahead of the upcoming Delegate Assembly, which will take place November 15-17 in New York City.
Ballots have all been tallied through eBallot by our vendor VoteNet, and write-in candidates have had their eligibility verified and been contacted to confirm their interest in serving. There were no ties after this acceptance process.

Alternates will be contacted if there is a need to fill a Delegate slot for someone who can not attend (though all members are encouraged to attend!).
Due to its late addition as our newest official NWU Chapter, Ohio does not yet have Delegate representation. We are working with the chapter chairs to plan a short-notice Special Election to fill those seats. If you are interested in serving as Delegate or Alternate for Ohio, please contact chapter co-chairs Taylor Dorrell (tayloradorrell@gmail.com) and David Hill (d2.david.hill@gmail.com).
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to the Election Committee at electioncommittee@nwu.org.
In solidarity,
The NWU Election Committee
